Hello internet folk, I figure out the problem with my tool not opening the editor. It turns out that a return in my test script was misspelled and didn't return the list that was needed to use the call for opening a tab or tabs for each new material. After checking my code against that which i had made during when I was following the guide I found that misspelling and corrected it. I now have a video to showcase this feature.
It looks like everything that i know how to put into a tool is working properly now. All that is left is to figure out how to put this into a plugin and publish it on the Unreal marketplace. I still doing research on that subject. I'm have another update about it next week.
