Unreal lake and FPS progress

So there's one small add-on and one medium sized progress report for something I haven't posted about yet. First I have a little more added to my experimental space I made a lake copying the simplified RGB values that I customized for the river absorption values and used them for the river absorption. Then I put in some foliage around the shape and a couple instances of my custom mesh around the edges. The result gives it a very weird sci-fi quality.



There's a kind of alien feel to it now-like something out of Dune. I'm starting to think of a lot of great things for this landscape.


The other thing I have been working on is learning how to program FPS mechanics and framing. One of my teachers send me a few playlists about programing for different genres un UE4 and I chose the FPS tutorials to start out with.

I look forward to getting better at this as well. Also I want to learn more about how cinematics work So I'm going to ask about that. I'm really excited about understanding and eventually mastering these mechanics so I can make more content in the future. I'll see you next week.
