Unreal Experiments

I've been looking at the different aspects of UE4's tools and decided to experiment a bit. I was planning on putting in some water effects in to my Mountain landscape but I also made a cool look by adjusting the RGB of the surface effects and got some neat results.

I was perusing the material panel in the rivers rendering section and managed to adjust the color of the absorption to create this effect.

I also made a unique geometry structure by extruding one side of a geo-cone mesh and inserting a subtractive sphere.

I also made a darker version of the steel material to put on the mesh. I named it Metal_Steel_Dark. I just changes a few values in the Material window.

That's pretty much it but I feel really impressed with myself. I might do some more experimenting like this. I'll might have something even more interesting next week.
