I have been reworking my AI code with some extra help. I created new decorators for the chase branch of the BT so it is meant to check both conditions to see if the player is within sight.

I also reworked a bunch of code stuff with my tasks and controller from last time.

So far this whole project has been very enlightening. I think that I'll have something to show for it soon.

There's one problem though:

I'm looking back over the tutorial series I was shown on this subject to see if there is anything that could make sensing for the Creeper so they don't chase you when your not visible to that enemy type.

Apparently they added a stimulus to the Character and may have done something a little different with the the code in the AI Perception variable. I'll have to look at it again next week. But in the mean time I feel pretty confidently about what I'm doing here and I'm happy to learn about this process.

EXTRA BLOOOOOOOOOOOOG

It's been a minute since I have done one of these. I have an update on on my concept that I posted about two weeks ago. I have been practicing a bit bit more with Clip Studio to try and get my design down. I part of the look of this creature if a kind of overbend posture that kinda looks like this Foxhound logo from MGS.

I have been trying to get a design down using that as a reference so I'll keep ya posted. I have also been trying to improve my drawing skills using re4frence images and the like:

I'm really want to get good at this. I have a lot of ideas like this that I'm interested in seeing what I can do with.
