AI blueprint for Group project

I have been working with a group project to make an original FPS game as mentioned in my last blog, It's called Otherworld. It is an eldritch themed sci-fi shooter with it's unique enemy types and atmospheric vibe of alien creatures and mysterious relics.

I have been contributing my skills by working on an enemy type with dangly limbs and fingers and a large bright light coming from their face. I have been making a skeletal mesh with animations from Miximo and programing AI routines for it to do. A basic build has already been implemented into the game but I have been iterating on it as well.

Here's a video of the AI in action:

The attack animation isn't working right now but it should work in game. I will have another blog soon about how I made this blueprint with the model and textures I was given. I would like to include something that would surprise the character. The creature would play dead at a random point when being damaged. It would fall a bit differently and then crawl towards the player and get back up. I'm glad I got to be a part of this project. I'm going to look for some more group opportunities and I'm super excited. We will also be improving this project so this will look really great in the future.
